We are looking for a Cost Controller to join the team at their headquarters in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe, Brussels. As the financial right-hand of the Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of their construction projects. With the ability to both support and challenge the PM, you'll help maintain the budget and avoid costly delays. One day of delay could mean over €100K in fees per day, making this role critical to the company's continued growth and success.
Manage multiple projects, split time between HQ and on-site locations or be completely dedicated to one larger project on-site (40% of the time at the office in Brussels and 60% of the time on site across Brussels and Flanders)
Monthly cost control reporting & analysis
Streamline administrative processes
Review project cost control under the supervision of project managers
Provide accurate and coherent financial reporting
Collaborate with technical teams to gather necessary information for cost control and reporting
Ensure necessary accounting data is transferred to project managers
Report results and analysis to Cost Control Manager
Follow the Project Manager and the works on site
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics or Finance
You have a first experience in the field of cost control or financial audit
You’re a quick learner with the ability to work independently
You are fluent in Dutch and have a basic understanding of French
Your analytical and reporting abilities are sharp as a knife
You’re a pro with MS Office
You're a collaborative force with brilliant communication skills!
