We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer who will be based in Paris, France to support the hardware design and development of the On Board Charger, under the functional responsibility of the HW design leader responsible for the HW design delivery of the complete OBC.

What you’ll do

Review electronics requirements and specifications

Perform or support electronics design calculations and simulation including worst-case analysis/statistical analysis

Choose components and elaborate specifications for specific components (magnetics...)

Support electronics integration (board definition, layout ...)

Follow standardization rules

Perform electronics tests and produce related documentation

Support design reviews, both internally and with suppliers

Report on the status of the tasks and mitigate potential risks

Here’s the experience and the “Nice to have”

You have a background in Electronics, with 3+ years in Power Electronics development in the automotive or aeronautics field.

You are a Hardware profile experienced in Design & Conception and Electrical Power Conversion

You have experience with Power Converters: LLC, PFC, DCDC, Buck, Boost, Flyback, and Power Switching: MOS, IGBT, SiC

You have good communication skills and love the magic of collaboration

You have an analytical approach and a strong drive for results

Most of all you have an inquisitive mind, and a thirst for knowledge.
