Faced with global warming & pollution, the revolution of sustainable transportation is on the rise. Our client, a joint venture between 2 GIANT actors in the automotive industry (you know them!) develops hydrogen solutions for transportation systems, essentially building a positive future by decarbonizing transport on a large scale!
The company’s BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to become a world leader in hydrogen mobility by producing 200,000 “StackPacks” - their pre-validated and pre-integrated hydrogen systems- per year by 2030, for use by manufacturers around the globe.
Today, they are an international team of 500 employees of 20 nationalities with a global presence in 5 countries on 3 continents, and still counting…They’re in the hyper-growth phase!

We are looking for a System Architect to join their team in France and be responsible for the design of fuel cell systems and the technical consistency of the product. You will also participate in pre-sales activities, system pre-sizing, and technical and commercial offer writing.
Create and define system requirements and model a system architecture based on customer requirements analysis
Perform cost analysis & risk assessment
Identify integration constraints and provide solutions
Ensure that the prototype functions properly, that it complies with the customer's specifications and with standards and regulations
Coordinate the business experts (hydrogen, control command, electrical, mechanical, thermal, support...)
Supervise the mechanical design of the system and verify compliance with the specification, standards, and requirements given by the business experts
Apply quality procedures, including configuration management and document management rules
You hold a Master of Engineering in Energy and Fluid Mechanics
You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
You have experience in the railway, nuclear or automotive field
You have experience with Matlab/Simulink
You’re fluent in English
Knowledge of fuel cells and experience in reliability analysis would be a plus
Personality is key! You thrive in a fast-paced environment!
You are passionate, enthusiastic, and driven by curiosity. Further, you have a structured approach and strong analytical skills, and always think positively!
